Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding contract between you (either as an individual or on behalf of your organisation) and DMARCify (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the DMARCify website (dmarcify.top), public diagnostic utilities (/tools/*), application dashboard (/app), email ingestion endpoints, and associated APIs.

By creating an account, generating DNS records, submitting domains for analysis, or accessing any part of our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our platform.

2. Platform Description & Workspace Accounts

DMARCify provides domain email security intelligence, automated DMARC aggregate XML report processing (RFC 7489), DNS configuration utilities (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI), deliverability diagnostics, and team workspace management.

To access workspace features, you must enrol an account using a valid email address and an authorised authentication method:

  • Passkey Authentication (FIDO2 / WebAuthn): DMARCify uses modern passkey authentication. You enrol passkeys stored securely on your biometric authenticator hardware (such as Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or hardware security keys). You are responsible for maintaining physical custody and security of your authenticators.
  • Emergency Backup Recovery Keys: When generated, you are issued a 28-character emergency backup recovery key. You are strictly responsible for storing this key offline in a secure location. DMARCify stores only a one-way cryptographic hash of your recovery key and cannot view, decrypt, or recover a lost emergency key.
  • Account Security: You must promptly notify us at support@dmarcify.top if you suspect that your account has been compromised or if you detect unauthorised access to your workspace.

3. Domain Ownership & Authorisation

Before activating domain monitoring or authoritative DNS management within DMARCify:

  • You represent and warrant that you are the registered domain owner, administrative contact, or authorised technical operator for every domain you submit to your workspace.
  • You agree to complete domain ownership verification where required, such as publishing a designated DNS verification record (_dmarcify-challenge) or publishing your assigned DMARC rua record on your authoritative nameservers. You authorise DMARCify to perform automated, periodic public DNS lookups to confirm the ongoing validity of your domain records and routing status.
  • You must not register, monitor, or attempt to manage domains for which you do not possess verified operational authority.

4. DMARC Telemetry Ingestion & Email Routing

Our platform processes email security telemetry delivered by third-party mail systems:

  • DMARC Aggregate Reports (RUA): By publishing our assigned report address (such as mailto:ingest+token@dmarcify.top) in your domain DMARC record, you instruct receiving mail servers (such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and Apple) to transmit XML aggregate reports to our ingestion servers. You grant DMARCify a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to receive, parse, and store this metadata solely to populate your workspace analytics and alerts.
  • Managed DMARC CNAME Delegation: If you choose to configure your domain DMARC record using CNAME delegation (pointing _dmarc.yourdomain.com to yourdomain.dmarcify.top), you expressly authorise DMARCify to publish and serve DMARC DNS policy records on your behalf via our nameservers, strictly reflecting the policy disposition (monitoring, quarantine, or reject) and rollout percentages configured in your workspace.
  • Technical Nature of Reports: Standard DMARC aggregate reports contain technical authentication metadata only (sending IP addresses, volume counts, and SPF/DKIM verification results). They contain no message bodies, subject lines, or individual recipient personal communications.
  • Ephemeral Deliverability Inboxes: When sending test messages to our deliverability testing addresses (delivery+token@dmarcify.top), you grant us temporary permission to inspect RFC 822 email headers and authentication parameters. All temporary test messages are automatically and permanently purged within 3 hours.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use DMARCify in full compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. You agree not to:

  • Transmit unsolicited bulk commercial email (spam), phishing templates, malicious software, or unlawful payloads to our ephemeral test inboxes.
  • Perform automated scraping, high-frequency crawling, or denial-of-service requests that disrupt platform performance.
  • Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or circumvent rate limits, Cloudflare Turnstile verification, or multi-tenant workspace isolation boundaries.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure, servers, or networks without prior written authorisation.
  • Use our diagnostic tools for abusive network reconnaissance or unauthorised third-party scanning.

6. Subscription Plans, Fair Usage & Billing

DMARCify offers free community diagnostic tools alongside tiered subscription plans (such as Professional, Business, and Enterprise):

  • Quotas & Retention: Each subscription plan defines specific resource limits, including active domain quotas, aggregate report ingestion limits, and historical report retention windows (e.g. 30 days to 365 days).
  • Payment Processing via Stripe: Payment processing services for DMARCify are provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (“Stripe”). All payment transactions, card verification, and recurring subscription billing are subject to the Stripe Services Agreement and Stripe Privacy Policy. By submitting payment details for a paid subscription, you authorise Stripe to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis. DMARCify does not collect, process, or store full credit or debit card details on its servers.
  • Ad-Free Plan Guarantee: Accounts subscribed to active ad-free plans automatically suppress all third-party advertising tags and marketing cookies across both public tools and application console views.
  • Renewals & Cancellations: Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a recurring monthly or annual basis unless cancelled prior to your renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your workspace settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
  • Fee Adjustments: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing upon at least 30 days prior written notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of adjusted fees.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

DMARCify and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the platform software, user interface design system, diagnostic parsing engines, APIs, documentation, and registered trademarks.

You retain all ownership rights in your domain names, DNS configurations, and customer telemetry. We claim no intellectual property ownership over the data you submit to our services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

DMARCify is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied.

While our diagnostic utilities and DMARC recommendation engines adhere strictly to published IETF RFC standards, email deliverability and inbox placement depend upon external factors outside our control, including DNS propagation delays, third-party internet service provider (ISP) policies, and proprietary spam filter algorithms employed by mailbox providers (such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Yahoo). We do not guarantee that your emails will achieve 100% inbox placement or bypass third-party spam filters.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DMARCify, its directors, employees, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use our platform.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to our services shall not exceed the greater of one hundred pounds sterling (£100) or the total fees paid by you to DMARCify in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DMARCify, its affiliates, and personnel against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, unauthorised domain submissions, or misuse of our diagnostic testing facilities.

11. Suspension & Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by closing your workspace. We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in activity that threatens platform security or availability.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of these Terms.
